Medicare & Insurance Coverage

Is home health care covered by Medicare?

Yes! Medicare covers home health 100% with no co-pay or secondary insurance needed. This means that if you or a loved one is in need of home health care and you have Medicare, you will likely not have to pay anything out-of-pocket for the care we provide. You will need a referral for in-home health care from your physician. You can learn more about referrals here.

Is home health care covered by VA (Veterans Affairs) or Tricare?

Yes! VA insurance and Tricare insurance both cover home health care without any out-of-pocket co-pays. This means that if you or a loved one is in need of home health care and you have VA or Tricare, you will likely not have to pay anything out-of-pocket for the care we provide.

What other insurance plans cover home health care?

Good question – and this one is a little more complex. If you have Medicare, VA, or Tricare, your home health care should be fully covered at no additional cost to you. When it comes to other insurance plans such as Medicare Supplements or Medicare Advantage Plans offered by private insurance companies, there are many instances where they do cover home health and we do accept their plan. Coverage for these plans is often dependent on the service area in which you are located. Please use our location finder and call a location near you to determine if your insurance plan is covered.

Do you accept Medicaid?

Unfortunately, we do not accept Medicaid.
